At Play of Hope, we believe sport is more than a game, it is a pathway to discipline, confidence, and opportunity. Founded in 2017, we work with children and youth from the Gayaza community and surrounding areas, using badminton as a tool to keep young people engaged, focused, and away from negative influences such as crime and school dropout.

We Are a Support System

Play of Hope is more than a place to train. We walk with our players through their personal and educational journeys, encouraging them to stay in school, set goals, and develop life skills that prepare them for the future.

At Play of Hope, our mission is to empower young people through sport and mentorship, helping them build confidence, stay in school, and create pathways to a brighter future. Our vision is to be a trusted community organization where every child and youth—regardless of background—has access to safe spaces, supportive coaching, and opportunities to grow both on and off the court.
